The Royal Crescent is a 5 Star, 45 bedroom hotel and Spa employing 134 staff over 8 Departments.  We have been using Rathbone HR Solutions Ltd for 3 years on a consultancy basis to help support all of the Head of Departments at the hotel as well as our HR administrator.

Polly has been wonderful to work with as she truly understands the needs of the hotel and how we operate while also being sympathetic to our staff. During the last 18 months of staff shortages, staff welfare improvements and cross training of our team, Polly has been an invaluable support.

When we were in the depths of a recruitment crisis, Polly stepped in and took over the posting on job adverts and the managing of CVs, this was a tremendous help to the management team who had to be on the floor looking after our influx of guests. Polly also trained all of our management team in how to performance manage the team and deal with grievances, all of which she supported with a full range of reference material.

Polly was also a great support in dealing with sensitive HR matters, always being professional, knowledgeable and always presenting an unbiased view.
