How to attract the best talent for your organisation
Employer branding is the perception of your organisation as an employer in the marketplace. Your employer branding can have a huge impact on how you attract and retain your people.
Since the start of the pandemic, jobs have been lost, but interestingly it is still a candidate driven market. People have had time to reflect on what is important to them and this translates to employment too.
It’s also helpful to know what employees are looking for in employment in general.
· Employees are looking for meaningful work and an organisation with a strong sense of purpose
· Opportunities to make a difference and develop their skills
· To feel a sense of belonging and be part of a community
· Employees are looking for organisations that demonstrate responsible and ethical business practices.
· Flexible working opportunities
· Organisations that care about employees and offer wellbeing initiatives.
If businesses take the time to demonstrate that they genuinely prioritise some of the above areas, there is a real opportunity for businesses to align to what employees are looking for and attract the best talent.
